Angler's Info  Good articles on a variety of salt and freshwater fish, including snook and tarpon.  Easy to navigate site with a primary emphasis on Tennessee and Florida.

Angling Lines  Website dedicated to used carp fishing tackle.  Includes an on-line magazine, travel specials and new tackle bargains.

ArtsNFlies.com  Original nature-oriented art and photography, hand-tied flies, flyfishing tools, online bookstore.

Basic Guide to Saltwater Flyfishing  Although the focus of this article is on Southwestern Florida, its basic information is pertinent to all saltwater flyfishing, regardless of location.   Very helpful article for beginner-intermediate saltwater flyfishers.

Big Game Fishing Journal  Primarily an advertising site to sell print subscriptions for the Big Game Fishing Journal, the site does include interesting conservation articles, including the August, 1998 article condemning pelagic longlining.

Dave's Marine Links  An incredibly rich collection of marine links including everything from lighthouses to pirates to boat building to naval history to snorkeling and fishing.

Field and Stream  On-line version of print magazine.   Site features fishing articles and a database of information on gamefish and forums on fishing and flyfishing (forum postings seem to focus on freshwater fishing, although not restricted to that topic).

Fish-Finder.com  Directory of international fishing and fishing-related sites.

Fine Fishing  Excellent site that includes over 150 articles on saltwater fishing, fish recipes, travel articles and links to other fishing sites. 

Fish Reports - Sport Fishing Reports from Around the World  World wide local fishing reports.

Fishing-Boating On-Line  Extensive set of articles on both fresh and salt water fishing techniques and issues such as "Successful Reef Chumming," and "Deepwater Flathead on the Fly.  Also includes fishing reports, information on fishing clubs and tournaments, tides, weather and general links.  The site additionally incorporates shopping links for tackle, marine supplies, and fishing guides.

Fishing Knots.  Animated guide to tying basic fishing knots.  Great idea!

The Fishing Network  A good site, though it doesn't seem to be heavily trafficked yet.  Includes an electronic magazine (22 issues per year, with old issues archived for reference purposes).  Current e-zine selections include articles on bottom fishing and selecting fishing lines.   Site also includes 20 custom forums, although many are not heavily used.  Clip art, fish pictures and icons are available as free downloads.  Includes an events calendar and fishing webring.

Fishing Resources  Links to on-line vendors of fishing and fishing related products (rods, reels, boats, motors, hats, trailers, tackle and fishing magazines).

Fishing Secrets  Non-commercial site by a group of south Florida fishing buddies.  The site is devoted to international fishing, including pairing up anglers to share fishing trips, recipes, fishing reports and pictures.

Fishy Fishing  Fishy Fishing is not a search engine - it's a database of fishing sites personally reviewed for quality by Steve, the site owner.  The database can be easily navigated via an organized directory.   The site also includes a new fishing forum.

Florida Keys fishing - Flats Fishing in Key Largo with Captain Tadd and Sneak Attack Charters.  Check out their bonefish and shark videos.

Fly Fishing Club  Very well-done Website with well-written, researched and content-rich articles, plus sections on fly patterns, a kids section, forums, lodges/outfitters and classifieds.

Fly Fishing in Salt Waters.  Good general site on salt water fly fishing including fishing reports and a saltwater fly fishing travel section.

Fly Fishing Women  Good site dedicated to providing an online forum for educating, supporting and sharing information on fly fishing with women anglers from all over the world.

Great Outdoors Recreation Pages   Forums devoted to outdoor recreation, including fishing and U.S. and international recreational destinations.  Very active.

Hunter's Friend Resort  Bass fishing at Indian Point near Branson, Missouri.

Identicard Company Fishing Links  Another good source of fishing related Internet sites.

ifishonline.com  Good fishing resources, including forum, chat and a club in which members get to try out (and keep) new fishing gear.

International Women Fly Fishers  Website of the non-profit international women's organization formed to promote and educate women in the sport of fly fishing.  With its international membership, club liaison and outreach activities, IWFF supports women's international involvement in fly fishing.

International Women's Fishing Association  Website for non-profit organization that promotes conservation and fishing among women through release tournaments and the IWFA Scholarship Trust that helps needy students attain graduate degrees in marine sciences.

Islamorada fishing  Deep Sea Fishing off of Islamorada Florida with Reel Busy Charters. Also check out their tarpon videos.

Jim Flanders, New Hampshire Fishing.  Fishing site for recommended New Hampshire fishing guide.  Jim and his wife, Sandra, are great people - - and LOVE to fish.   They also generally visit Placencia for some non-stop fishing in February each year - and you can get in touch with Jim or Sandra with any questions you might have by email at JimFNH@aol.com

John's Nautical and Boat Building Page  Focus not only on boats and boat building  (including info on building your own boat from scrap wood), but all things related to boats, including fishing.  (If you can't find it in the "Mother of All Maritime" links, it probably doesn't exist.

Kenai River Fishing Lodge  The Alaskan Sprucewood Lodge is located in Soldotna Alaska on the banks of the Kenai River.  Fine fishing guides on the Kenai River.

NauticFriend  Labeled as the "ultimate watersports portal," and if it isn't, it's close.  Everything from boatbuilding, to kayaking, to kite fishing, to wakeboard and yacht charters.

Ol' Paw's Fishing Page  Good updated links and a fairly well-used fishing bulletin board.  User-friendly.

Reel-time Internet Fishing Journal  Good commercial site that offers some excellent articles, on topics such as international bonefishing including tackle considerations and potential destinations and how-to articles on flyfishing for bonita and false albacore.

Saltwater Fishing Homepage   Very active fishing bulletin board.

Saltwater Flies  Good site devoted entirely to saltwater flies.  Includes a bulletin board, forum, links page and saltwater flyfishing photographs.

Sea Muffin Project  Interesting project involving a circumnavigation of  the world aboard a  floating bakery, Sea Muffin. Starting by heading from New York City, the boat will head to Scandinavia, and from there make its way down the coast of Europe to the Cape Verde Islands, and from there across the Atlantic to the Caribbean, baking fresh muffins along the way, both as ambassadors for these amazing, easy, tasty treats and to make a little cash to support the Crew!

Tuna Fishing . . . by TNT (Tyrone's Tuna Fishing Page)  A non-commercial labor of love, by Tyrone, a fisherman fishing out of Old Saybrook, CT.  Includes bulletin boards, weather charts, classified ads and links.  But the real treasure at the site is its "Fishing Stories" feature.   Fishing stories can be jokes, accounts of fishing trips, or technique articles in disguise, such as the articles, Trolling for Tuna (detailed description of trolling techniques), Drag v. lbs. line test (discussion of setting line tension), and Rigging Lures.  Great site.

Women's Flyfishing  Organization and Website dedicated to helping women enjoy fly fishing through education and support.  Site includes fishing reports, fly fishing tips and hints, information on trips and fly fishing instruction, plus book reviews and fly fishing links.

World Wide Angler  Entry portal to a group of sites published by Fin, Inc.  Includes World Wide Angler, Chesapeake Angler, Florida Angler, Northeast Angler and Southeast Angler.  Good articles, an angler's poll, product reviews, fishing products yellow pages listings, information on tournaments and other fishing events, and breaking fishing news.  Also includes fairly active global and regional bulletin boards.
