 Colibri
is located within easy walking distance of quite a few
local restaurants including De Tatch Beach Cafe, Trattoria
Placencia featuring hand-made pasta and local seafood, Daisy's
Restaurant specializing in local Belize Creole dishes, and the new
Barefoot Beach Bar catering to the beach crowd with snacks,
sandwiches and a lively bar.
 But,
without a doubt, what makes the Colibri Beach Apartment so special
(in addition to the location and ambiance, of course) are
Nicoletta and Stefano.
Nicoletta and Stefano live upstairs, and take great pains to be as
unobtrusive as possible, but at the same time managing to make
their guests feel a part of the Placencia community. And
