One
World Cottagesare the newest additions to Placencia Village's
lodging options.
These
cottages
are very conveniently located, just 2 minutes from the beach, two
grocery stores, several restaurants, the Placencia docks, the post
office and other local services.
Two
cottages have two bedrooms and 1 bath, and one cottage has one
bedroom and one bath. All cottages have a full kitchen (full
range, refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, pots, pans, dishes and
utensils), ceiling fans, living/dining area, hot and cold water,
and verandah.
Minimum 3-night rental, fresh sheets and towels
every third day, full maid service once a week.
Sea Spray
doesn't offer
fancy spa food, or in-room Jacuzzi's.
What it does offer are honest, simple
accommodations that let you truly soak up life in the Village.
Sea Spray's location on
the beach just off the Sidewalk
in the center of Placencia Village allows visitors to catch of little bit of the real life of the
Village (although this can make it a bit noisy during the holidays).

Miss Lydia's Cabanas
are two small, one-bedroom cabanas behind Miss Lydia's Rooms, located
about 300 feet from the
edge of the
Caribbean shore in the same area as Las Amigas Cabanas,
Each cabana has a kitchen, bath, living room, one
bedroom and front porch and
are located The
Captain's House, The Crow's Nest, Colibri Beach Apartment and
Toucan Lulu.
The
cabanas are within easy walking distance of quite a few local
restaurants including De Tatch Beach Cafe, Trattoria Placencia
featuring hand-made pasta and local seafood, Daisy's Restaurant
specializing in local Belize Creole dishes, and the Barefoot Beach Bar
catering to the beach crowd with snacks, sandwiches and a popular bar.
Please note: services
and goods in Belize are subject to a 12.5%
general sales tax (GST). Hotels/resorts must charge a 9% hotel tax
on accommodations.
By law, all rates quoted for goods and services must include the GST, but
quoted hotel room rates need not include the hotel tax. All of our package rates include both
GST and hotel taxes. As required by law, rates for tours quoted on our
Website include the 12.5% GST. Many hotels and resorts also
impose a service charge. We have included service charges in package
